| Rates: – Rate increases the year are minimal. In fact, there are no increases in the canoe and outfitting rental rates. Only small changes have been made in the services area - overnights, breakfasts, shuttles etc.. Staff: – Gary will be returning to Voyageur to keep things running smoothly again this year. Gary is a retired school teacher who, when he retired, took a job with Voyageur to smooth this transition to retirement. That was more than 12 years ago so it has been a lengthy transition, for which Voyageur has been the chief beneficiary. However, we will be providing him with additional help when students become available this summer. Other Services: – We will be carrying a good range of products again this year. Items that may be forgotten in packing, - sunscreen, repellents, first aid, fishing gear. Clothing, including hoodies, sweatshirts, t-shirts and a wide variety of headgear. Also refreshments such as, ice cream, cold drinks, chocolate bars, etc. In addition we are planning to offer debit card facilities to expand the number of payment options.. Digital Pictures: – As we have done in previous years we will be offering to take a free digital picture of your party and e-mail it to your home for viewing when you return from your trip. Canoes: – We will be adding new Kevlar canoes again this year to replace some of the older models which we sold off last fall. These will be standard weight kevlar canoes rather than ultra lights since demand has been increasing in this area. Specials: - As last year, we are offering two canoe trip draws again this year. One will be open to canoe trip customers in July and the other in August. Each draw will be for a free three day rental of a 16' light weight canoe. Two paddles, two PFD'S and a safety kit are included. Value of the package is over $100.00. Discounts: - Only one discount will be given
in cases where more than one discount is available. The discount giving the
best deal for the customer will be the one given.
