Cabin and Canoe

Spring and Fall - Mon-Thurs or Thurs-Sun for 3 nights.

Take off to Algonquin Park's northwest corner for a weekend of scenic canoeing combined with a comfortable lakeside chalet suite. Enjoy 3 nights of accommodation with solar power, a wood fireplace, a deck, and a BBQ. Located on beautiful Kawawaymog Lake at Algonquin Park Access # 1, our Cabin Suites are a great base to explore nearby islands by canoe or paddle down and fish the Amable du Fond River. Hike the lookout trail or just relax with a good book on the dock or in front of the fireplace.

Try a weekend in the quiet seasons of spring or fall. May and September are usually gorgeous with warm days and cool nights. The water is cool but you can heat up in the floating sauna and take a plunge into the clear cool water! Early June is buggy but the last two weeks are the best time to see wildlife! For the best fall colors, come visit in late September and early October.

Each cabin suite has two bedrooms (one with double bed, one with bunk bed), one bathroom (with shower), a fully equipped kitchen, living room (pull out) with wood stove/fireplace, dining room table and deck with BBQ. Maximum 5 people.

The Algonquin Cabin and Canoe package includes 3 nights of accommodation and t he use of a canoe with paddles and PFDs, and a welcome orientation. Available for an additional cost:

The cost does not include: HST (13% sales tax), meals, or guided excursions.
