Learn to Winter Camp- Manitou

Explore the northwest corner of Algonquin Park and experience Algonquin’s majestic wilderness in winter! Snowshoe across frozen lakes and through waist-deep snow. Learn winter backcountry travel skills and sleep in hot tents.

This winter expedition focuses on off-the-beaten-path outdoor exploration and backcountry travel skills. While no winter experience is necessary, this trip is a participatory adventure intended for adventure seekers who have some outdoor experience and are looking for an authentic adventure.

The cost is $595 per person plus HST.

The cost includes: 1-night hot tent camping accommodation, meals lunch day 1 to lunch day 2, all equipment including snowshoes, skis and camping gear and winter camping instruction.

For an additional $175+HST per person, 
Arrive the night before and enjoy a tasty dinner, cozy accommodation, and breakfast before the 9 am rendezvous.
