Private Winter Eco-Adventure

Winter 2026/27: 2, 3 or 4 nights on these dates: Dec 4-20, 2026; Jan 7 - Feb 11, 2027; Feb 21 - Mar 28, 2027 (including March Break).

This private, fully guided trip offers a sample of winter adventures: backcountry skiing, snowshoeing, tasty meals, all equipment and the services of a wilderness guide, with an option to add a dogsled trail ride on select dates. You choose the dates and how long you stay.

Accommodation is in your own chalet suite (Nahma or Magnetawan) at the solar-powered Algonquin Cottage Outpost on Kawawaymog Lake, at the northwest corner of Algonquin Park. Your chalet suite has two bedrooms, a washroom with a hot shower, a kitchen, and a living room with a cozy wood-burning stove or fireplace.

Groups of 6-8 (both suites): $861 per person for 2 nights, book the Groups of 6-8 version.

The cost includes chalet suite accommodation, all meals from lunch on your first day until you head home (2-night stays end after lunch on day 3; 3- and 4-night stays end after breakfast, with check-out at 10 am), guided backcountry skiing and snowshoeing, all equipment, and the services of a wilderness guide.

The cost does not include HST, transportation, or personal clothing.

Additional costs: dogsled trail ride on select dates. We can accommodate special diets such as gluten-free, vegan or lactose-free.
